PER SIE
video installation | 7'32'' | 2012

Per Sie is German for usually addressing someone formally. The video shows images of a scientific parabolic
flight. The original material was recorded by a camera installed at the flight without a person operating it.
The inaccessible situation of the original flight is approached by filming it again from a computer screen. The camera
follows the floating scientists's movements in each of the short looping clips and comes closer and closer to the screen.

The movements in the picture are imitated and practiced and create the impression of participation in the actual scene.
Both the movements and the image appear more and more abstract.
